Crafting bespoke builds in Wanaka and beyond since 2009

Here at Hawkeye Builders Wānaka, we pride ourselves on craftsmanship, communication, and considered choices. We create homes and commercial spaces that are unique to you, reflecting your individual needs, wants, style and the stunning place we’re lucky to call home.

From the ground up, we believe that every build should reflect both the people inside it and the environment around it. Wānaka’s striking landscape draws people from around the world, so it’s only right that our homes and businesses compliment our beautiful region and the good humans who live here. Whether that’s through the use of natural or sustainable materials, building with a consideration of our surrounding environment, thoughtful landscaping or protecting historic buildings: we craft designs that reflect the unique focal points of our region.

With an eye for the finer details and a passion for quality craftsmanship, Hawkeye founders George and Richie have travelled the world building custom homes and commercial spaces since 2009. Now based in Wānaka with a skilled team of Licensed Building Practitioners, George and Richie take the considered approach to every build, bringing your unique vision to life with you at the forefront.

Whether you’re building a family home, renovating holiday accommodation or refurbishing your business, every element of your project will be carefully crafted to reflect your bespoke vision and the beauty of Wānaka.

As part of our efforts to protect our home, we offer all our building partners an eco-recycling service, fund a new community project each year and invest our resources into learning about energy efficient building practices and sustainable materials suited to this spectacular landscape, working towards more sustainable practices across the board.
