Set on a five-hectare Cherry Orchard on the Clutha river in Queensberry, this ‘cottage’ incorporates the needs of a working orchard as well as an office to welcome and meet with clients. The design attaches the large office in the cottage to the implement shed via a covered carport. Polished concrete flooring and ply walls are durable materials for the needs of day to day work yet maintain a high spec finish. The exposed trusses and bi-fold windows give the rooms depth and create an indoor-outdoor feel.
